Refund Policy
Sessions are digital, one-time-use access codes delivered immediately on payment.
We offer a full refund if:
- Your join code was never delivered (contact us within 24 hours of purchase).
- A verified technical fault on our end prevented session access.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Completed sessions.
- Change of mind after the code has been used to join a game.
- Purchases made on behalf of someone else.
To request a refund: email support@scriptweaver.studio with your order reference (shown on your confirmation page).
FAQ
| I lost my join code | Check your confirmation page at the link in your purchase email, or contact support with your order reference. |
| My session expired before we could play | Paid sessions are valid for 90 days from purchase; the play timer starts on first join. If yours expired before you played, email support — we'll issue a replacement code. |
| The game isn't loading / something broke | Hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R). If the issue persists, contact support with a description of what happened. |
| Can I replay a mystery I've already solved? | Free mysteries: one session per account. Paid mysteries: purchase a new session — each plays through with a different culprit. |
| I was charged but never got a code | Email support immediately with the email address you used at checkout and we'll resolve it. |
| Can I give a session as a gift? | Yes — the join code works for anyone. You don't need to share your account; just pass the code to the recipient. |
